Electronic Voice Phenomena - Spiritsearchers

Below are some EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomena) recordings. The capturing of supposed spirit voices and

sounds on a recording device. Anyone can do this. The most simple way is to leave a recorder (Cassette or Digital) in a room, cemetery, anywhere. You can also walk around with it and ask questions. If you use a cassette recorder, always use a new/unused cassette tape. The voices cannot be heard at that moment by ear, only when the recording is played back.

Nancy got this one sitting in our bedroom trying to contact her father who had recently passed. She asks, "Daddy if you're here let us know". It is followed immediately by a very loud "HELLO". The voice sounds like her mother, who passed in 1982. This is from our Panasonic Digital recorder.

BEST OF THE BEST! We still get chills when we hear this one. Barbara Uhl recorded this at Spanglers Spring in Gettysburg on March 19th 2000. She set her digitial recorder on a rock and asked, "Can you tell us your name". The response is mind-blowing. Almost a role call of voices and names. An interesting note: to my ear, it sounds like the speed and pitch of the voices change, like when you tune a short wave radio. Panasonic Digital recorder

Here are a few we got from our homemade Raudive Box. Here's a link for building your own. We have used Noise Reduction through GOLDWAVE to "clean" the recordings for better clarity. Please listen to them closly, as the voices are under the white noise.

I felt someone tap me on the back 3 times. I turned to my left. Nancy was about 5 feet away with her back to me. To my right, no one. I was shocked. I said "something just tapped me on my back", but before I could finish my sentence, the EMF meter pinned and the beeper went berserk. Nervous, I said "Honey, take a picture", then we got out of there.

I played back the recording. What we heard was unbelieveable. A voice says "Wake Up!", then a few seconds later, you hear me say "Something just tapped..."

and the EMF meter goes off.
